Oh man. How do we explain this one? We should just admit that we goofed.
We assumed that Yucca House NM was similar to the Hohokam Pima site and that it existed in name only. That’s not exactly true.
While there are no NPS facilities there, no signs and no paved roads, heck no public roads, that lead to it, you can still access the large, unexcavated Ancestral Puebloan surface site. The Site is open to the public, as long as you promise to close the cattle gates behind you.
